Thanks to my new addiction to Pinterest, I’ve been opened up to a whole new world of inspiration. I could pin stalk for hours at a time, filling my boards with recipes, crafts, and DIY, oh my!  After a couple months of gathering ideas, it was time to finally get to work.  My first little project was a growth chart for Juice inspired by this pin from Knock Off Decor via 517 Creations.  We already had stain (Minwax Special Walnut) so we headed out to buy a 1×6, a black paint pen and a number stencil (free-handing the numbers was out of the question with my handwriting).  After Brian stained the board, I set to work marking the chart and stenciling the numbers.  Here’s the final result -

We hung up the growth chart in our future guest bedroom/playroom in our upstairs loft.  I’m not a huge fan of putting holes in the wall so we just used a couple Command Strips.  Let the growing begin!
